Keep the kit small.
Choose a few word searches, a travel-themed bingo card, and a coloring page. Add a pencil, an eraser, and a firm folder or clipboard. Avoid packing so many pages that choosing becomes a task in itself. Keep supplies in one place where a passenger can reach them without disturbing the driver.
Pick activities that suit the journey.
Familiar words make a good first puzzle. For a travel-themed bingo game, decide whether you are drawing words from a list or spotting objects outside; explain the rules before you begin. Passengers can pair up or play independently. Never involve the driver in reading cards, checking answers, or handling supplies while the vehicle is moving.
Leave space for a break.
Not every passenger enjoys close-up reading in a moving vehicle. Keep activities optional, and save them for rest stops if that feels more comfortable. Store completed pages behind the unused sheets, and keep the answer keys separate. A few well-chosen activities can be useful during a wait without needing to fill every moment of the journey.
