Give the list one clear idea.
Start with a theme you can describe in a few words: a garden, an ocean adventure, a birthday, or a favorite hobby. Write down more possibilities than you need, then keep the clearest ones. A focused list makes it easier for players to understand what they are looking for.
Match your words to the tool.
The word-search generator removes spaces and punctuation, uses letters only, and accepts words from two to twenty letters long. Duplicate words are removed, and the first eighteen valid words are used. For bingo, short phrases are welcome, but each card needs at least twenty-four unique entries. Check your spelling before printing.
Try the result before making a pack.
Generate one layout and read through the printed preview. Check that the title describes the activity and that the words are appropriate for the group. Use the answer-key view to confirm the puzzle. For bingo, make sure entries are distinct enough to call clearly. A quick review is especially worthwhile before printing cards for a whole gathering.
